HOW CAN I DELETE THE ICS?

PEGASUS

When I installed Win XP Pro on my two computers
(connected to a broadband router) I chose the
option 'This computer connects to the Internet
through another computer in my network or through
a local gateway' on both computers by mistake. This installed the connection 'Internet gateway'.
I can deactivate the 'Internet connection', but how can I
delete it permanently from the system? There is no
option in the 'right-click' menu for deleting the connection. Please help me.

Go to the my network places folder , then run the set up
the home or small office network wizard again

You checked the correct box. The icon is not ICS, it's your router. If you
really hate it you can uncheck the Internet Gateway Discovery and Control
Client in Optional Components.

Can you help me understand why you (and it seems everyone else) thinks this
is part of ICS? Perhaps we need a name change...
