how can I copy and paste from research

When I'm working in Word and I pulled up research to get a definition how can
I fit the definition in the document?

What version of Word is this? In Word 2003 and 2007, you can use the mouse
to select parts of individual definitions (and other articles), then
right-click and choose copy (or press Ctrl+C).

For example, if I Alt+Click on the word "jump", I see 20 definitions for the
verb... I can select definition 1, or definition 2... etc. But not all of
them, and not the part with the number.

I see:

1. leave surface with both feet
intransitive verb to bend the knees and push the whole body quickly up off a
surface or the ground

I was able to select and copy "intransitive verb to bend the knees and push
the whole body quickly up off a surface or the ground" to the clipboard, and
then able to paste it into a Word document (or this message). The "1. leave
surface with both feet" part, however, is not available for copying/pasting.
