Use a media formatter which will format your media as MP3, WAV, or AAC
files? (all of which iPod will use). Of course, if your music is already
formatted as MP3, WAV, or AAC, you don't have to worry about converting it
to a different format, just load it on your iPod using the supplied
software.

I have the same problem and can't get answers from
Microsoft, Sony, Apple, or music match. I hope we hear
something from someone who know how to convert without
recopying all our CD's.
