How Can I Convert Other Media File Formats to Windows Media Player

I know this is possible because I could do it before. Now for some reason I
don't know how to change other media formats to wma so I can save it to my
library.

Any suggestions are accepted...

Knowing the other formats would help as some are already supported by
WMP library, and others are not easily convertible -especially if protected.

Google "convert mp3 to WMA" etc is the easy way to find such tools.
dbPowerAmp is a good all-rounder.
