How can I configure Outlook to properly bottom-post?

I have Outlook 2007 and cannot find the configuration option to allow posting
the signature block at the end of the message I am replying to. I hate
top-posting and it makes me look like an inconsiderate dolt. I have looked
through all the multitude of options I can find, but this one must be tucked
away fairly deep (which is weird, since it is such a common configuration
issue).

Bottom posters drive me nuts and I will NOT reply to any post that uses that option.

I have already read the problem, do not need to scroll through anything I have already read as it is a waste of my time, and don't need to read through 5 repeated posts only to see a "me too!" statement.

Just my 2 cents. My news reader, my rules.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

After furious head scratching, Douglas Palmer asked:

You'll need to create the signature as a Quick Part and insert it manually.

Thanks. ThatKs useful and when I get back to NYC I will start using
it.

I had never looked into this before... Aparently it's a bit of a
religious issue for MS and people with "MVP" attached to their names.
I fouind hundreds of complaints and small-fire skirmishes on this
dating back to the late 90's... Since MS has not fixed such a simple
thing, it must be part of some internal gospel.

I liked the movie Memento, btw... I just don't want to experience it
every time I read a message. Whether one prefers one style or the
other, it seems a silly option to leave out of such a large product.
It's like leaving out "reply to all" because you could easily cut and
paste all the other addresses if you really want them included.

Wait... There is a "reply to all" option, right?

Is there any argument more trite and boring than this one? Wait. I can think
of one. The presidential primary "debates."

I'm not saying either style is wrong, per se... I just don't
understand the vehemence that must underlie the decision not to offer
an option in the software. I never encountered anyone who prefered
this odd method before trying to make Outlook work properly. Never had
a need to look into it before Friday.
