FP2000: How can I clear or edit the list of URLs on the "Publish Web"
dialog's listbox?

Highliting the unwaqnted entry and hitting your "Delete" key should do it
....

Try "Start" "Run" "Regedit" OK
and do a search for one of those items - patience while it searches.....

When u see the MRU (Most Recently Used) list - just delete what you want.
(It's only an MRU)

Does that Help....?

They are stored in the registry here:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\FrontPage\Explorer\FrontPage Explorer\Recent Publish
List

with the valuenames web1, web2 and so on.

"HOWEVER" they must remain in order so that they will display.
If you delete web3, then web4 and above will not display because FrontPage thinks that
web2 is the last one.

fwiw, I'm working on a version of FPCleaner that will allow a user to "properly" edit
these types of listings
for FP, EW and SharePoint designer.

Thanking you.
