How can I check my video card specs?

I'm sorry if there is some easy-to-find answer to this question, but I have
looked around and did not find anything.

I just bought a new video card but I suspect that it might not be the one I
was supposed to get, so I want to check its specifications to compare. Is
there some way I can do this from Windows XP?
