How can I change the size of a link bar in Frontpage?

The text in the Navigation Link Bar is longer than the "Button" How Can I
change the size of the Button or Link Bar?
 
The button is part of the theme images
Modify the theme to
- use a smaller text size
- use a new custom larger image
