How can I change the format of a phone number in Outlook Contacts from
5555555555 to (555) 555-5555? Thank you.

Outlook does that automatically once you set your dialing location
correctly.

OK - can't seem to find how to set up my dialing location? Thanks.

That's not an Outlook setting.
It's an operating system setting.
Control Panel > Phone and Modem Options (on Windows XP)
