how can I change the default email software for sending reports

I use gmail for emails, but when I try and send a report from Access it wants
to send it from Outlook. How can I change this
 
In Internet Explorer / Options / Programs (IE 6), there is an option for
Email. The choices are Outlook, OE, and Hotmail. I don't know how to get
Gmail into the list. I assume you can't.

You could probably write some VBA to: Open a browser instance, navigate to
gmail, and send a pdf version of the report.

The open source program KeePass uses some means of sending userid and
password keystrokes to IE or FF or whatever browser is open. So yes
I'm sure that would be possible somehow.
