How can I change my page sets-up settings?

I am trying to print something that will take an entire 8.5x11 sheet of
paper.

But I can't get my margins to go to 0. After I do the page set-up changes
to 0 for the top, bottom, right, and left margins, a window pops up to fix
what I just entered.. And this holds true for other programs that print my
documents lop-sided, since my left margin is always larger than my right
margin.

How can I get these margins to stay at 0 so my prints are centered and using
all the sheet of paper?

I am running Windows XP and Office Professional 2003 and Outlook Express
6.00.2800.1123. Am also using a Lexmark x73 printer.

Thank you so much for your help.

Well you cannot (unless you have a hugely expensive printing press) because
every Printer has an unprintable margin around all edges. If you go to File,
Page Setup, change all the margins to zero and press OK, Word will error
with 'Margins Outside Printable Area'. If you press FIZ at this stage, Word
will automatically set the margins to the smallest setting for your printer.
That is the best you can do.

Some of the newer InkJet printers let you print Photos to the edge of the
paper, but this is usually limited to certain paper stock and sometimes not
for text - only photos.
