G Gord Dibben Jan 8, 2010 #3 Button>Excel Options>When creating new workbooks. Set the font type and size. Close and restart Excel. All NEW workbooks row and column headers will be as you wish. NOTE: the default cell font will also be that type and size. You can get around that by selecting all cells and re-formatting as you want. You could also set this up as Book.xltx so's that would be the default New Workbook when hitting CTRL + n or New File Icon. Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP
