How can I capture an image from a movie I have imported into Moviemaker, I
am using version 1 and not version 2 of MM, as I had problems with version
2,

if I have to upgrade to version 2, how am I able to do the above?

I know that while importing the movies from a video camera I am able to
'Take Photo' but this imports it as part of the film, and is also upside
down, the only way I am doing this as the moment is to use a diskdrive add
on that I have got, but I am wanting to do lots of photos to make up a few
short GIF files with 10 or 20 images.

thanks

Same way with either v1 or v2.... preview the movie in the screen... at the
bottom of the screen is a little icon that looks like a camera. At the
frame you want/need, click on the camera icon. It will ask you where you
want to save the image.

when I am playing viewing the movie after I have imported it from the video
camera I can no longer see this capture icon, the only way that I can do
this is: play movie on video camera and have this floppy disk adapter as
storage, and saving the images on floppy disks, but I can only get low
quality images, and it only stores 7 images and the disk is full!!

I have tried to copy the image by playing and then pausing it at the image I
need, and using the copy in the edit menu, then pasting it in PAINT or WORD
but it does not work. is there another way to get images from a WMV file
and save them in JPG, or other image format?

thanks again.
