Here is the first problem.

I have two excell files and I accidentally saved as as one file i.e.
original file were, file a and file b and now I only have file a. Hiow can I
retrive file b.

Stop using your computer. Get a file undelete program. Look for files in the folder you had the file and in temp files. It will be there somewhere but may be overwritten. You have about a 25% chance of finding it.
