How can I attach a file to a spyware report?

Accidentally I installed some dialer on my system. It wasn't detected by MS
AntiSpyware and neither by the other spyware app I use. The dialer uses a
generic winlogon.exe and disables the taskmanager (yup, I'm one of the stupid
ppl that's always logged on as an admin).

I reloaded an image of my system since it's a pretty fast way to get rid of
that kind of software, but now I'd like to report it to MS AntiSpyware, and
I'm not going to install it again so that AntiSpyware can scan my system and
create a system report and so on.

Is it possible in any way to mail the install package to MS AntiSpyware?

I looked the dialer up in google and I found a site saying that the dialer
is detected by two other antispyware apps, so I thought you'd maybe like to
include it too :-)

Steps to take if you have spyware that is not removed by Microsoft Windows
AntiSpyware (betª)
1) Open up AntiSpywªre
2) Click Tools at the tºp
3) Click "Submit a Suspected Spyware Repºrt"
4) Fill out the form with as much detail so they can anªlyze quickly.

MSAS at the moment, dont accepet binaries.

Can you provide more info.

Help us help you:

I believe I can get such a binary to the team.

Remove the last two terms from my posting address go get a valid email.

Zip the file, and password protect it--use "infected" as the password.

Microsoft has a variety of mechanisms for acquiring binaries to improve the
definitions and detections, but there is no alias accessable to the general
public to mail a binary to, I'm afraid.

I'm not making an offer to the world--just in this specific case, (or anyone
else who reads this and thinks they want to send something useful.) I'd
rather let Microsoft's standard methods do the job, but this one does sound
like one they might otherwise miss.

Could happen--Usually what I get are thoughtful messages from folks who
might not rather post those thoughts in public. Unfortunately, between
wanting to be equally thoughful in replying, and the volume of mail I get,
they sometimes end up getting lost....

Thanks, Bill.

I appreciate that you are willing to help me out.

I haven't had an experience like this for seven years or so, since I always
use updated security software, so I was surprised to see that this ugly
little thing managed to do it's dirty work on my system.
