O
okari
I have a huge collection of pictures in various file sizes with
different quality and resolution. Im looking for a app that could
arrange these pictures in some logical way according to their height and
width so i could easily tell which ones of them to use as eg. wallpaper
pictures (1028x768, 1280x768, 1600x1200 etc.), which ones are more
suitable as web design pictures (320x240, 640x480 etc.) and which ones
to use for thumbnails (32x32 for example).
As far as i know WinXP is capable of arranging icons by picture
dimensions inside "My Pictures" -folder the same way it can sort files
by their Name, Type, Size and Date in Win9x. Unfortunately I run Win98
SE and I will not be able to change my operating system to anything else
at the moment.
Another solution besides "arranging pics app" would be a "searching pics
app" that could search my hard drive for pictures that meet certain
dimensions. I have already tested several commercial trial products of
the latter.. ACDSee mTools was one of them but sadly it missed some
search results all the time and because of its bloatwareous nature it
crashed every once in awhile.
Any (preferably freeware) suggestions of both type of applications are
welcome, thank you..
