whether i can install
a administration software on the client to control the server?

Hi, Mr Wong,
In my memory, There is a clinet mgmt tools for WinXP to admin the
server...

Yes, the adminpak.

If you're running a 2000 DC and XP client, download the Windows Server 2003
Administration tools (adminpak.msi) from download.microsoft.com.

If you're running a 2003 DC and XP, navigate to \\win2003\admin$\system32
and the adminpak.msi file is in there.

Leo,

Both Dennis and Paul have given you the correct answer.

Using Terminal Services in Remote Admin Mode is nice ( helps you to be able
to administer things from within the environment as well as from outside the
environment ) as is the Adminpak. I would set up the Terminal Services in
Remote Admin Mode as well as the Adminpak and use the Adminpak from within
the environment and the TS in RAM from outside the environment.

HTH,

Cary
