How can I add times to Appointments

Right now when you add something to the calendar it offers an array of times
when to be alerted/reminded of the event. I need some times other than what
are listed. Is there a way to edit that list of times to add new ones?
Running Office 2007 on Vista Home Premium.
Thanks in advance.

Just type in that field. The dropdown list only contains suggestions, not
limitations.

Sorry, I should have included the x-time before it starts. That is what I
want mainly. I cannot change those because it generates an error that it is
an invalid time.

What exactly are you typing in there now?
You are talking about the Reminder field in the Ribbon on the Appointment
tab, right?
I don't get such an error even if I type "bla" in there; it just defaults
back to "15 minutes" when I navigate away from that field.

Are you typing it in as full words - 23 minutes, 10 hours, 27 days? While
many date fields use time shortcuts, the reminder fields don't - they need
it spelled out.

What I want to change is where it says x minutes before start. It has 15, 10,
5 and 0 minutes before start as the defaults. However, if I change any of
those it says and this is taken from the error "The snooze time "35 minutes
before start" is invalid. Enter a valid snooze time.". So all I did was
change the number to produce the error. I would like a 35 minutes before
start as well as 45, 1 hour and 2 hours. Is there a place in the registry
where I can tweak them?
Thanks for your help!

you didn't mention you were doing the snooze times - that's different than
reminder times. 'before start' is limited to the selections offered. If the
appointment is 1 hr away and you need a 35 min before start reminder, type
25 minutes then hit snooze.

The times are hard coded - you can't hack the registry to change them.

Thanks, too bad that it is hard coded. It would be nice if you had a little
clock widget that you could use to be reminded exactly when you want to be
reminded without having to back-clock.
Sorry for not being clearer initially.

if you do it when you set up the appointment, you can type 35 minutes in the
reminder field and you'll be reminded 35 min before the appointment.
