How can I add another HD to my PC? It already has 3.

My system has run out of controllers for HDs. It has three HD and one
DVD. So there is no easy way to add another internal HD, right?

Depends on what you regard as "easy".

An add-on PCI card will add another two controllers, for as many as 4
additional devices. I used to use a Promise Ultra 100 TX2 card, which is an
old product, but still available. With sufficiently recent firmware, the
card supports LBA48 drives (larger than 137 MB). I never tried it with
removable devices, like optical drives, but I have read claims that it
doesn't work well with them. It's easy enough to keep all the opticals on
the mainboard's controllers.

It needs one IRQ.

Address scrambled. Replace nkbob with bobkn.

Newegg also sells the Promise Ultra 133 TX2.. It came with the
firmware to use LBA48 drive already installed.

If you have an open PCI slot then you can install a PCI IDE Controller card
and add up to four more drives.
