How can I add a 2nd design template to a presentation using 2007?

I would like to change one slide in my presentation to a different design.
Why, why, why is everything so difficult in 2007?

Select the slide in the slides pane.

On the Design tab, right-click the theme you want to change it to and choose
Apply to Selected Slides.

Thank you for responding. I get very frustrated when I need to do something I
can do so easily in 2003 or 2002, and I just find myself searching and
spending so much time trying to accomplish an easy task. Thank you again.
Guess the frustration is showing.

You're welcome. The frustration is totally understandable.

I find that PPT 2007 has a lot of stuff on the right-click menus, but I
often forget to look there for some reason!

Hi

I've found this guide invaluabe in my move to 2007:
Where have all the commands gone?
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/templates/TC102128641033.aspx?pid=CT102130321033

And it does get a bit easier. Eventually. Honestly :-)

This didn't work for me. Anyone have any other ideas?

Hi

Could you be a bit more specific? What didn't work for you? What are you
trying to achieve? The OP had problems applying a design to a single slide
using 2007 - is that your problem?

What didn't work? The guide to commands, or applying a 2nd design template,
or what?

And which version of PPT are you using?
