Hello all,

I downloaded the Outlook2007RibbonXAddin.MSI to see some Working Examples of
Ribbon C# Code.
So I installed it.. And I cant find it ANYWHERE.. it looks like there has
just been a icon installed.

Where Can I find this Sample code? As I really want to start understanding
the Outlook API by the end of the afternoon.
This bugs me a lot since all the samples on Google don't work and the one I
get from MSDN doesn't showup anywhere.

Thanks.
Robin

Thanks but it doesn't seem to be there..

I think it's since I dont have a Direct MyDocuments Folder?
Its liked to a Network Drive..

Anyway, thanks =)

So read the article and see what components get installed and then do a
search using Windows Explorer for those files. They must have been installed
somewhere.

Well, thats what I did before I posted it here.

Turns out that its installed on the Master Server (The one that has our User
Folders) under the installer account, and as I don't have access to his
folders I couldnt find it..

(We work with the Linux idea (everybody is a user(Guest) and some have a
Highter account (root/admin)))

Cheers,
Robin

Do you get a choice of where to install that addin when the MSI runs?

no I didn't get any screen link that.. I think that the installation just
trust you on having a My Documents.
But since I have to install it as a Admin and run it as a user I cant find
the \\SERVER\userfolders\robin-admin folder.

So the case is closed now.. =)
