Hi

I have three machines all running outlook 2003: one at work, one at home, and a lap top. Example: I receive an e-mail on monday for an associate and I open it at my office read it and then flag it for a later response. Since it is regarding a personnal issue for the weekend I wait to respond to it until I get home. However I pulled the original message up at work now I dont have it in my previously viewed mail. So I have been forwaring the message to a seperate user name in my e-mail account then respond. It is a pain. Is there any way I can syncronize all three computers to allow me to see the same info in all three. Including: mail box folders, contacts, current email, sent email, viewed email. All on any given computer that i have. Please respond as soon as you can

Thank you

One answer that may serve your purpose is this. leave a copy of the mails on your ISP's mail server. Assuming that your mail comes from a 'pop' server then (I can only tell you how to do this in office XP (2002) but hopefully 203 is pretty much the same) go to the Tools drop down menu and choose "E-Mail Accounts". Then in the dialogue box that appears, choose "View or change existing e-mail accounts" and click next. In the next dialogue box choose the account you want to access the mail in, in two or more locations, and choose the Change... button. In the following dialogue box click the "More Settings..." button, and in the box aftyer that go to the "Advanced" tab. In outlook 2002 there is a "Delivery" section here in which you can tell outlook to leave a copy of the messages on the server so that when you then go home and collect you mail there, you will be able to download a copy of the mail from the server there as well. I will also mean that for the specified period of time, you will also (if you use it at all) be able to get this mail from anywhere else, including webmail, ( which is frequently somthing like - webmail.[your-isp].com

Unfortunately, without an exchange server you can't do this effectively
The closest solution would be to copy your outlook data file betwee
systems and as the file grows it will become time consuming.

If your primary issue is the need to re-download your email when yo
get home, you can set your work and laptop computers to leave message
on the server. They will not redownload messages they have alread
received, and when you get home, your home client can then download an
remove the messages from your mail server, just dont leave your outloo
running at home set to autocheck mail every n minutes.

To do this, on your work computer and laptop, go to:

Tools --> Email Accounts --> View/Change Existing

Highlight your acount and click the "Change" button.

Click the "More Settings" button, then the advanced tab.

Under "Delivery" at the bottom, you will find an option to "Leave
copy of messages on the server"
