Is there a way to create a link from:
%USERPROFILE%\My Documents\My Pictures
to a new directory, say:
e:\All Pictures

Thanks.. Jay

Jay,

If you mean you want to make the "My Pictures" folder point to E:\All
Pictures, rather than the default location, then this can be done using the
TweakUI tool.. download it from the Microsoft website at:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

In the program, look in the My Computer -> Special Folders category.

Hope this helps..

Thanks.. that's not exactly what I wanted to do.. It does move the
'special folder' to another location - not the contents, but you could
just move from explorer to do that. I was looking for a way to leave
"my Pictures" under "My documents", but actually have "My Pictures"
be in a different physical location .. kinka like link in *inx.
