how can a backup operator have access to change journal?

Hi,
Backup Operators do not have access to change journal. I tried local
security settings - user access rights but i cant find a way to provide
backup operators to have access to change journal.
If change journal is simply like a file then why backup operators do not
have access to it.
Also is there a way to allow backup operators to have access to change
journal in windows.

Thanks for posting!

From your post I understand that you cannot modify the schedule of Ntbackup
as backup operator. If I have misunderstood your concern please feel free
to let me know.

First please confirm the owner of the backup job. Is the job created by
administor? If so, this is an expected issue since backup operator has no
enough permissions on the job. I suggest you recreate the backup schedule
job using backup operator with its credentials and verify if the issue
persists.
