I am rather new to scanning and I run XP Pro + SP1.

Can someone tell me how I can get my other applications to be listed
in XP's Events tab?

----

Here is the background to my question ....

I go to Control Panel > Scanners & Cameras and then right click
properties for my Epson scanner.

Then I select the Events tab and select Start This Program.

I see only an Epson application and Photoshop listed there in the
dropdown menu. How can I get my other applications to be listed?

I would like to see my Acdsee 3.1 and Pixia there. In those I can do
successful 'Acquires' so I assume that those applications can be
linked to the Events tab.

I hate to do this guys but *BUMP* can I repost this in the hope
someone might see it and post some help this time. Thank you.

PS: How do I change the folder named in the grayed out option called
"Save All Pictures To This Folder"?

Sorry but bump doesn't mean anything here.

"Bump" only works on messageboards. This is Usenet. Unless you are
adding to your original thread weeks later (when the news servers may
have expired the original articles), we see your posts as part of a
continuous thread. If you haven't received an answer, it's because no
one reading the group right now has one.

My guess is that the software mftr. will have coded the hook into the
Events menu you want and if they didn't do it, it won't exist. That is
a guess, however. You might want to post your question in a developer's
newsgroup.

Because it doesn't.

Programs either support device events or they do not. If they do then
they will appear in the list, if they do not then they will not. You
cannot add them.
