Shift + F3 toggles between all caps, all lower case and "normal" (i.e. caps after a period.

Although it is very unlikely that the text is formatted as All Caps (a
opposed to having been typed in with Caps Lock on), first try selecting an
pressing Ctrl+Shift+A. If this has no effect, press it again to remove th
All Caps formatting, then use Change Case as instructed. The advantage o
All Caps over typing with Caps Lock is immediately apparent when you remov
the All Caps formatting: when you type with Caps Lock, Shift gives you
lowercase character. When you type in All Caps, Shift has no apparen
effect, but when you remove the All Caps property, the letters yo
capitalized are still capitalized (giving you true Title Case or Sentenc
case)
