Well I am using outlook 2003, I went to tools, then option, mail setup, send
and receive , send and receive groups and check the send and receive(F9)
group and set schedule autmatic send and receive 280 min. on both online and
offline. the automatically dial during background send/receive and clik out,
that did not work, then i went to control panel and then to network
connection selected advance menue and dial up preference and uncheck always
ask me before autodialing and disable autdial while i am logged on and that
didd not work. Just for info, i leave my outlook open all the time however,
when the time come for it to dial out i get a dial up dialog menue waiting
for me click dial out.

I went to the sites you listed but to not avail on the answer.
any suggestion???

account, then the Change button. Click More settings. What is configured on
the Connection tab?
