Hotmail

I have office 2000 SP-3 9.0.0.6627 I can't set up outlook to get my hotmail account mail? Or Netzero?
 
Ok I got the netzero working it is a POP.. But I don't undestand why a patch can't be made. They are both Microsoft??

because outlook 2000 is outdated - outlook 2002 and up support it.
