How does one get mail from Hotmail.com on Vista RC1? cannot recover any of
my mail and can't believe that this is the end of Hotmail as we know it!

Windows Mail doesn't support Hotmail. It now only supports POP mail servers.
One option is to use Windows Live mail desktop (you can at least set up http
mail from here). Alternatively visit the web based hotmail (live mail) site.
