there must be a glitch or something in microsoft, because for the last week
or so, when i log into hotmail.com to check my emails, i have to enter my
email address, despite having checked the "save my email address" button
several months ago... furthermore, if anyone in here replies to my queries,
the links seem to go nowhere... is there a bug going around, or do i have to
download a patch/repair/fix to correct this?

To address your question, readers need the version of Windows you are using
and information on any hardware and/or software changes you made immediately
prior to the appearance of the problem. Also, is Hotmail the only
application where Windows fails to "remember" previously entered
information? If it is, try Hotmail support.

If the failure is system-wide, ask your question in the appropriate Windows
discussion group.

You've posted your question in a discussion group for .NET programming
issues. To find a discussion group for your version of Windows, try this.

As you appear to be using a web interface, visit this page:

http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/

In the tree on the left, open English, then open Windows. In the
Windows subcategory, find and open the subcategory for your version of
Windows, and find a group there for your post.
