Q

Quartz

I want to use the hotmail account as my "all day" account, is a secure
account or some time it "lose" mail and the people can access
(unauthorized!) to the email ?
I need to know if some people use hotmail as the all day email, I don't find
an other email that offer the service that hotmail offer :-( Some
suggestion?
Thank very much.

Greetings Quartz,

I know plenty of people that use Hotmail as their primary e-mail address. No one can access
it but you, however, it's important to not set a poor "secret question" that people could
find out and change. You can change your "secret question" here:
https://memberservices.passport.net/ppsecure/MSRV_ChangeSQ.srf

Keep in mind however that if you're just using the free accounts, if you don't login for 30
days, your account will be closed.

Thanks for the reply!!! I know the 30 days limitation but is not a problem,
now I must decide if open or not open the email :-)
I have see that the authentication in Hotmail is secured with crittografy
:-) Good! Yahoo don't offer this service :-(
Bye

Hi,

Yep, like any .NET Passport service (including Messenger), authentication is done via SSL
(Secure Socket Layer).
