When I log out of hotmail of late, as it is logging out it freezes and I
have to c/a/d out of it, then says it might be addons or spyware or
something else when I click on the link.
only does it coming out of hotmail it seems.
cleaned temp files with no luck

Seems the Hotmail servers aren't working properly - also happens with MSN.
It's being reported by many people. All I can say is wait.

I suppose if you're really bored you can add it here:

Hotmail is broken...:

Though I'm not entirely certain hotmail being down truly warrants news
status even though the board is still pretty new and empty...

Have you added loginpassport.com, hotmail.com and msn.com (or .au or .co.uk
depending on where you're headed when you log out) to trusted sites or to
allowed cookie sites in IE's options? I suppose you could try that... I
could have sworn I saw a list earlier today about the sites that should be
added on one of the Microsoft sites but the URL seems to have gone missing.
