Hotmail bounces invites from Gmailers

It seems Microsoft doesn't like students like me. Miss Dragon aka STAPLES (and Miss PRICK) should raise this point with her superiors and urge them to be human and not worry about competition. How much does Mr Gates needs to eat and live happily ever after?
 
On the positive side, to compete with Gmail and other services, MS is soon changing its
FREE Hotmail accounts to 250 MB storage and 10 MB maximum attachments, with FREE virus
scanning, which used to be available to only Hotmail paying subscribers.

Since the occurrence seems very limited, it is possible the issue has
nothing to do with Microsoft.
Gmail who has the most to lose even says "very limited"
The issue may very well have nothing to do with either party.
There are many possibilities, including settings on the computers, 3rd
party mail services etc.

"Google acknowledged some similar occurrences with Hotmail but called
them "very limited." MSN representatives said there were no known
problems with Hotmail users receiving Gmail or Orkut invitations. "MSN
Hotmail treats mail from Gmail accounts in the same manner as all
other incoming mail," MSN product manager Brooke Richardson wrote in
an email."

Overall the article is poorly written in that the initial message is
that Hotmail is at fault.
Yet not even Gmail suggests as much.

LMAO! Who the hell is "coveting" it, besides yourself? Give it a little more
time, and the 'invitation' will get around as much as AOL CD's. Your email will
eventually be bombarded with the damn things.
 
jupiter jones must be some type of bot. seem's no matter
what time it is, there that bot is. and the bad manner's
too.that bot won't admit problem's with some update's.and
why isn't that bot on the mvps.org web site? must be
pretending to work for old bill.
 
Hey Sam - get a life. I think the GMail concept as it stands SUX big time.

If I DID get an invite, it would immediately go into my block sender file so
THANX! MSN - you saved me the trouble!

I'm sure someone has a good reason for sending this to every newsgroup they
can think of, but I'm frankly not the least interested.

clock/time zone correctly.

for its money. It is more competition we need not less.
