hotmail attachments are a problem

I have been having trouble attaching documents to
outgoing emails from Hotmail. The system seems unable to
attach the document, but if I circumvent it and send
anyway, the attachment is received. This isn't
happening with my Hotmail account if I use Netscape as my
browser. Any suggestions or help?
