Hotlinking

why is it that when i click on a link to a picture it
displays a "please stop hotlinking image"? how do i
prevent it in order to see the picture?
 
where are you getting this message ....website....
some sites have copyrighted pictures that can not be
copied without 3rd party snapshot software.
