Have you tried the following? (please respond with a report about the
results)

Hold down the ALT key while typing a space.

Release the ALT key.

Type a lower case x.

Alt+Spacebar+X: Window Maximize
Alt+Spacebar+R: Window Restore
Alt+Spacebar+N: Window Minimize

Yes, with m for move and s for re"size". These can be useful if the
title bar has somehow been moved beyond the border of the display. After
using these menu commands the window can be moved and resized with the
arrow keys.

If anyone needs a reminder, look for the underlined character.

In early versions of Windows the link between ALT+space and this menu
wasn't QUITE so obscure because the left end of the title bar contained
a little space bar icon. More recent versions display a small version of
the application icon there, but the old functions remain.

This works:) alt + spacebar + x = maximize !
After so many years ... at last!

i could just imagine the havoc that techies cause

havn't got 'round to 'looking' at the other postings (yet)

try windoze+M (toggle if this doesn't mini/maxi)

they took away my toys - once - when i was younger...

now i pilfer what i can, when i can... inexpensively as possible - consider
me a pole - picked up 'm&m's' when i was about twice the age of the removal
of said toys...now, i tap my keypad... making words - apparently - that are
my way of talking to the world...

yeah, it may be frowned upon by bill© - that's where i make the point: 'i'm
me - get oer it!'

(snip)

Nope:

Windows+m minimizes all open windows. Second time does nothing.

Windows+d will minimize all open windows then reopen then the second time.

I find windows+e convenient when I want to explore "My computer"

See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_key#Usage_with_Windows

The incorrect Windows advice in your first three lines aside - *what* are
you talking about?
