Can I delete all these "windows XP hotfix #***** from my
program files? They are under the Media Player title, but
show no disc space being used. I don't remember them
being there a month ago. Thanks in advance y'all, Kim

"Hotfixes" are the updates you installed from the Windows Update
website. Do not be tempted to remove them or you will uninstall
the actual updates.

If you wish to safely remove the "uninstall files" for the
Hotfixes (i.e. $NtUninstallQxxxxxx$ files shown in Windows Explorer)
and cleanup your Add/Remove Programs list, visit MS-MVP Doug Knox's
excellent website for instructions.

Wew! That was close. Think I'll stick to cleaning my
house, not those 'mysterious files' Thanks so much:)
