Not sure what you're asking. There are special hotfixes available if you
have the symptoms described in a KB article and are directed to call
Microsoft to receive them. There are hotfixes available for general release
on Windows Update. Think of them as patches that fix problems discovered
after the operating system or program was released. Everyone should run
Windows Update regularly to get all critical updates.
