hotfix file 789.00mb!!!!!!!

hey guys i'm a little new to this so go easy on me. I went t
add/remove prog. the other night and sorted it by size and at the to
of the list is a windows media player hotfix (Q828026) that takes u
789.00MB of space!!! anybody have any idea what is going on?? I trie
to remove it but is said it couldn't find a bunch of files (can'
remember what they were) so it is still there taking up an enourmou
amout of space. I could sure use any help

You should not be tempted to "uninstall" any "Hotfixes" listed in the
Add or Remove Programs section. They are listed there in case
your computer does not function properly after they are installed.
Uninstalling them will uninstall the actual patches which were downloaded
from the Windows Update website.

If you wish to safely remove the "uninstall files" for the
Hotfixes (i.e. $NtUninstallQxxxxxx$ files shown in Windows Explorer)
and cleanup your Add/Remove Programs list, visit MS-MVP Doug Knox's
excellent website for instructions.

Remove Hotfix Backup files and the Add/Remove Programs Registry entries

Note: Doug's program only removes the uninstall files and Hotfix entries
in the Add/Remove Programs listing. It does not remove the
actual updates.
