How do I get rid of this thing for good. I uncheck it
and it comes back every time. Also, how do I put a
google search onto my IE toolbar?

Go to Control Panel and Add/Remove programs and uninstall it if there.

Get Ad-Aware and SpyBot S&D and update their reference files through their
online update function.

Get the Google Toolbar.

If you recently installed Messenger Plus or upgraded
Messenger Plus there is a good chance, during the
installation that you didn't untick the box that
said "install sponsors". That will give you a toolbar
thatn the only way you can remove is to uninstall
Messenger Plus and reinstall it, making you you untick
the "install sponsors" box.
