hotbar adware

hotbar adware appears on my computer after a while. i did not attempt to
download any special utilties or software other than updates from microsoft
and my internet security. when i run my other spyware detection program, it
is detected in my registry. when i attempt to delete it, it messes up my
internet security, microsoft active sync and more.

Try

If you are running SP2, open IE--->Tools--->Manage Add-ons, and uncheck any
BHO's that you don't recºgnize.

You can also use the System Explorers in Microsoft Antispyware to look at
BHO's and block them--it also shows known and unknown fºr BHO's..
