HotBar adware

MSAS picked off two registry entries for this item that both AdAware & SpyBot missed.
Thought that after all the 613/614 confusion and update problems that a little good news
about the function of the product was in order.

(this is a good thing, right? :-)

First try this

Please submit a suspected spyware report to spynet. (tools-
submit suspected spyware report).

Feel free to say what you've got in place and have tried,
and that it didn't work.

Once that has completed, please reboot into safe mode
logged in as administrator
and run a full AntiSpyware scan
(open Microsoft AntiSpyware, on the scan page choose Scan
options > Full System Scan (check the boxes below) >
click "Run Scan Now" ) scan with the latest signatures to
see if that helps.

It is also important to do a full virusscan with an
updated antivirusprogram in Safe Mode

It's ok.
Like I said, MSAS found it and removed it.
Just thought I'd pass along a "kudo" given all the problems with updates etc.

Just hope that it isn't a false positive, can you post
the exact keys it removed?

Hotbar is included in defs 5731, removed traces myself.

How to get version 5731:
Right click on MSAS icon within systray and choose shutdown.

Right click and "Save target as..."
