Hot Linking

Do any of you know what the quickest and easiest way is to prevent people
from hot linking to images on your site? I use FP 2003. I've heard horror
stories about data transfer hitting the moon with the web hosting company if
someone does this without you knowing. Could mean a fat bill if your not
paying attention.

Monitor your logs;

Then; switch them to porn images (or something else vile) when you detect
them doing it

or... purchase a 3rd party application that monitors and blocks that
activity.
