is it possible to program an F-key with you password so
you don't have to type it in everytime?

What password? More importantly, why?

Saving passwords anywhere is simply a bad idea. A saved password is a
forgotten password. That is, if you have your computer remember it, you
won't. Then there are the security issues associated with having passwords
stored by the local machine.

That said, depending on the password you're talking about what you ask may
or may not be possible in the manner you envision. If you're asking about a
Windows logon password - particularly a domain or network logon password -
the answer is no, not without third-party software and possibly not even
then.

Saving other passwords is definitely doable, but the specifics vary with
what you want to save. Internet Explorer can be configured to save usernames
and passwords to various web sites. Remote network connections can be set to
save authentication credentials. A host of third-party utilities are
available for download to help as well.

However, I feel compelled to again STRONGLY discourage you from this. The
risks are far too great for the benefit, in my opinion.
