Is there a hot key or hot key combo to make a new folder?
Rather than using the mouse FILE/NEW/FOLDER?

If you can remember the 60's....you weren't really there

Note to Microsoft, In Windows Explorer make Ctrl + N create a new folder

(On the Mac, in the finder Command + N will make a new folder. No such luck
in Windows!)

None that I know of Gereg, but there is a neat little free utility called MD
Folder which does something similar from a context menu. After you have
installed it, just right click a spot in a folder where you need a new
folder. On the Context menu which will open you will now see a new entry
called NEW FOLDER. Click that and type the name you need for the new folder
and click OK. You will now have your new - and named - folder ready for use:

LOL, well, you're a little late for SP2 as it has pretty much been finalized
with the shell and interface already locked down with only work on various
bug issues remaining to be resolved and SP2's release date fast approaching.

But, perhaps the next iteration or maybe in Longhorn.
