Hello, MSAS refuses to complete a scan (hangs) when
Bluetacks "hosts" file is installed. see
www.bluetack.co.uk for a copy. It seems that many forums,
talk about problems with "large hosts file."

Hello Rick

You can open your hosts file with Notepad.

C:/Windows/System32/Drivers/etc/hosts.file

Delete everything EXCEPT 127.0.0.1 Localhost

Choose "save as" and owerwrite hosts.file

MSAS then protect your hosts file.

That would sort of defeat the whole idea of using an
ad/spy/malware site blocking hosts file would it not? How
stupid!

Not stupid in my book.
