How can I change the Host name after doing Unattended
Instellation of AD on a ghosted Win2k server. Is it
Possible to change it after AD Implementation.

Armaan. The only way to change a Windows 2000 Domain Controller Name is to
Demote it and Promote it back using DCPROMO this process is easy if you have
more than one Domain Controller and should be done after business hours.

I am not so sure that ghosting a Domain Controller is such a good idea. You
can ghost the Server while it is still a Member Server to create that image,
attach to the network and to the folder that holds this image ( via a
network boot disk - or to wherever that image might be located ) and then
bring it down to a machine to create a member Server and then run DCPROMO on
it to make it a DC.

I have never done this with servers but I would think that you would need to
sysprep the machine that you are using as your 'source' for the image before
you ghost it.
