I have a single host that keeps getting removed from my dns. I'm using
dynamic dns and have manually entered this host as it is a server. I have
made sure the record is set to not be deleted and yet it still vanishes.

What is the best way for me to find the cause?

The system is only lasting about 6 hours before it gets removed from dns.
Any ideas, please...

It would help if you would say what host record you are talking about.

I did. Unfortunatly Outlook Express got messed up when I tried to post the
response and it kept telling me it couldn't when in fact it did. Several
times and thats where it is. Here it is again... (sorry about the mess up).
---Paste---
Host(A) in my forward zone and PTR in my reverse zone. Both records keep
vanishing from my DNS.
---End Paste---

I read that, but it does not tell me what host it is. What machine it is
for, or what IP address it has.
Can you post the ipconfig /all for the machine this record is for and run
netdiag /test:dns /v from that machine.
