Host file

I downloaded host to control popups and some other
website. It worked fine for couple od days. Now I don't
see any images on google yahoo or msn. I sven renamed the
host file and also tried deleting all the entries in the
file but still can't see the images. I know the host file
is working because if I add the entry for any site it
stop me going to that site. As soon as I removed it
allows me. But I can't figure out the images problems.
Any help woule be great.

By tweaking the HOSTS file you likely corrupted it, thus the issues
displaying some images.
Follow these instructions in deleting your old HOSTS and installing
a fresh copy. http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm

Images/Pictures

Clear the IE cache. I.E./Tools/Options/General/Delete files (and delete
offline content.) It's often recommended that the Temporary Internet Files
(folder) be kept at
40-50 MB. Bigger isn't necessarily better.
