Hi,
I have a PC that I had set up a HOSTS file and everything was working fine.
The other day, my user told me they couldn't run an application. The
application looked in the HOSTS file to get an IP address. I tried pinging
to the name in the HOSTS file and had no luck. I hard coded the IP address
and it worked fine. I looked and found another HOSTS file. I removed it
and still don't seem to be finding my HOSTS file. Is there a setting
somewhere that needs to point to my HOSTS file location?
Thanks
Greg
